I would love to see the SPVM try to pull off that kind of crap in Montreal.

I had just turned onto Sullivan Street when a blue-shirt attempted to tackle me and, noticing this cop’s utter lack of enthusiasm for his task, I attempted to free myself. At this point another blue shirt and 2 white shirts rushed in to force my face into the concrete. The above pictures detail this quite well- some flicks for the scrapbook 😉 yeah?
It is clear by the swiftness of police aggression that those of us who were arrested at the start of the march were intentionally targeted – Not one of us was a new face. What’s more we were not told why we were being arrested until our arraignment documents were ready to be signed at the 7th precinct where we were held for several hours, seemingly until our sisters and brothers completed the march.
Keep in mind: This march was a success! Spirits were high in the park, on the streets and in the cells. Every beating and unjust arrest serves our cause so long as we continue to broadcast our experiences.
REMEMBER the Brooklyn Bridge? The NYPD is falling right into our traps; disingenuous use of the law by the police is being filmed/recorded and disseminated by our movement to inform the uninvolved and fuel the passions of the already commited.
No more playing in their rigged games, make them CHOKE on their own charade!
